Looking through the menu, my first impression was, “damn, this place is expensive”; but what you have to understand is almost all authentic Korean restaurants are usually pricey due to the fact that they serve free-flow side dishes for all customers. I guess that is why the prices are higher so that they could cover the costs of the side dishes.
We ordered the fried chicken in sweet sauce but requested for it to be spicy and also a kimchi pancake. They served a cold tea and 5 side dishes and I have to say every dish was tasty and perfect. The price was $39 for the chicken and $21 for pancake but I would say it was well worth the money. The portion was really huge and I think we could feed a 3rd and maybe even a 4th person. The staff were relatively quiet, moved around very quickly but this “main lady” was friendlier than the rest. I am guessing she might be the boss and spoke to most customers in a cheerful manner.
This restaurant serves korean food and has korean bbq as well and although I felt the price was high, I believe the quality of the food is great. I will definitely come again in the future to try other dishes as well.
