I had my virgin experience of eating this when I was in the army. During one of the nights when we were on guard duty, someone suggested ordering this and it was the best non-indian curry I had. I mean, I am a bread-lover so when they matched this enticing, soft and fluffy bread with a rich, creamy and luscious chicken curry, I was sold.
So once in a while, when I have the craving for some bread and curry, I just give them a call and go down to collect it from their Kaki Bukit “factory” outlet. By self-collecting, you save on the $3.50 delivery charge and get about 10% off your order. The delivery usually takes a very long time and I’d rather collect it on my own since isn’t too far from my place. The other day, I called in at 7.10pm and I was home enjoying my dinner at 7.30pm upon self-collection.
I have tried the chicken and mutton curry and I prefer the chicken as there‘s more gravy. The mutton has much lesser gravy and seems more like a slow-cooked mutton stew of sorts, so I did not fancy it so much. For those who do not like their curry to be sweet, do stay away from this.
