We came here because after my visit to Wild Honey, my friend suggested this place and claimed this place was better and cheaper.
We had a Lumberjack and Pandan Pancakes costing us about $37. Cost wise, it was almost the same, but the location here was not as central.
The presentation was great, ambiance was very chill and the food selection was good. The food they serve are kind of similar to Wild Honey but Two Bakers have some locally inspired food.
The sausage from the Lumberjack was raw in the middle, which they promptly replaced. The Pandan Pancakes were really dry but the aroma and gula melaka sauce they paired with was awesome. I think if the bananas were flambeed or caramelised, it would have been magic.
Overall, I was definitely disappointed with the food at Two Bakers. The raw sausage, I could forgive but the dry pancakes as well, made me kind of sad. Would I try this place again? Maybe not, unless I had no choice, but do try it out on your own and share your experience as well.
