Ever since Cass came here with her colleagues, she had been pestering me to come and try it out as well. So one afternoon, we made our way here for lunch and honestly, best experience ever.
We ordered an “English” which is a full platter of food for $25 and also the “Canadian” which is a plate of amazing pancakes for $20.
If you take some time to read through the menu, you would understand that everything in this restaurant is made in-house and everything sounds superb. When I was looking through the menu and was about to order, I almost wanted to ask for replacement for the baked beans because you know, I thought it came from a can but no! It was made here as well! When you get your food, take your time to visually appreciate the effort put into the food because really, I was amazed to see that nothing looked factory-made.
Every bit of the food was delectable and I have no complains at all. The English platter was delicious from start to end and the pancakes were so soft, fluffy and fragrant. I do not know what more to say; I really hope you would try it for yourself instead.
This particular restaurant itself was situated in a ‘not too crowded’, upscale shopping mall and the decor inside was just so calming and inviting. The staff were friendly and fast and attentive to our needs as well.
The prices are definitely reasonable considering the location they are in and I have also eaten at other small scale restaurants which charge way more with lower quality food.
Overall, to me this place is a must try and I hope the standards are maintained as well.
